Standard Route is 7.75 miles
- right into Riverway, at river bridge cross with care, down to path by the river right to Civic Offices first muster.
- through park, over Bagnall’s Bridge, into Castlefields, at car park, second muster
- along disused railway to Derrington Pub, third muster (standard run starts)
- take Derrington Lane to Newport Road, left towards Stafford, just before the motorway bridge fourth muster
- cross the main road with care onto footpath, continue up the bank until opposite the Castle entrance cross into car park, right into field just before castle to the edge of the golf course fifth
muster - take footpath by side of golf course, to Castlefields, over Bagnall’s Bridge through park to Civic Offices, sixth muster
- along river footpath to Riverway bridge, up the steps cross with care, right back to the club
Short route is 6.88 miles
- right into Riverway, at river bridge cross with care, down to path by the river right to Civic Offices first muster.
- through park, over Bagnall’s Bridge, into Castlefields, at car park, second muster
- along disused railway to Derrington Pub, third muster (long run starts)
- through Derrington village past church, onto disused railway, back to Castlefield car park. fourth muster.
- over Bagnall’s Bridge through park to Civic Offices, fifth muster
- along river path, at Riverway bridge, up the stairs, cross with care, return to club
