Progression Bank Holiday Route 2

Route is 5.84 miles (9.4 km)

  1. Starting from Costa’s on Queens Retail Park.
  2. Cross the A34 at lights, pass the Medows, pass Radford Bank Inn, muster at the Canal
  3. Down the steps to the tow path, right under the A34 muster at the lock
  4. continue on the Canal to Acton Trussell, muster at the road bridge.
  5. EXTREME CARE IS REQUIRED FOR THE NEXT SECTION. SINGLE FILE ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE ROAD. turn left and follow the narrow lane to Acton Gate. Cross the main Road WITH CARE  to follow the foot path muster at the railway bridge.
  6. Using the foot bridge cross the Railway, cross A449 WITH CARE into Gravel Lane, right into School Lane, left into St Peter’s Garden, muster by the shops.
  7. left into Rickerscote Road, CROSS Silkmore Lane WITH CARE, right and muster at the CO OP
  8. Continue down Rickerscote and back to Costa.
